We deeply regretto announce the death on 4 June 2019 of Professor Anna Dobrochna Kossowska, sociologist and criminologist, member of the Scientific Council of ILS–PAS, retired employee and head of the Department of Criminology at the Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, deputy director of ILS–PAS for scientific affairs 1994–2000, member of the Editorial Committee of The Archives of Criminology, longstanding President of the Prof. Stanisław Batawia Polish Society of Criminology, lecturer at IPSiR UW and EWSPiA, person and scientist of extensive knowledge, decency and kindness. We express our deepest sympathy to herhusband and loved ones.
